The biggest gaming party weekend of the year went off and concluded this past weekend with a big BLAST of Gaming Action and Costumed Characters!

Joined for the 1st time by the mighty Midnight Gaming Championships, DFWGames and A-kon all teamed up to run non-stop console gaming action in everything from SMASH BROTHERS and HALO 3 to MADDEN 10, Guitar Hero, Tekken 6, Need for Speed, Soul Calibur IV, Super Street Figher 4 and much much more...

Here's the Track Scan official announcement: 

Track Scan® will be providing setups for all PC and FPS setups at SuperCon 2010 as well as Road to SuperCon locations. Locations such as DFWgames, home to the SuperCon 2010 regional qualifier A-kon and OKgamers, home to the SuperCon 2010 regional qualifier Tokyo in Tulsa, will allow players to experience the greatness of surround sound in causal and/or tournament play.

In addition to that every 1st place winner in a FPS or PC events will receive headset(s) in addition to any trophy cash prize.

NTGA at A-Kon 2010

 In addition to the great Track-Scan sponsorship DFWGames is hooking up with our new partners at the North Texas Gaming Association to add some tight competitive level HALO TOURNAMENTS where you'll use those cool surround headsets.

NTGA plans to run 2 Halo Tournaments in the A-kon 21 Console Room.

We will be running a walk up FFA tournament on Friday June 4th (Kind of like the Gamebattles Arcade).

On Saturday June 5th we will be running a 2v2 tournament.

Both tournaments will be use the NTGA rules

We are going to be allowing free play while tournaments are not going on, as well as free play late into the night Friday and Saturday.

Tournament Schedule is GOING UP Now!

The Gargantuan Gaming Party weekend is right around the corner!  You can come out for plenty of casual play on a variety of Console Games and even Cell Phone Games.  The fun will be non-stop.  

If you're the type that wants to seriously compete though then you'll want to register and compete in a tournament or several tournaments.  The basic schedule has gone up and official tournament schedule page which will be updated as well with any changes can be found RIGHT HERE:
